We’re kicking off an eight-week, “Spot, Snap and Share a Safety Resource Campaign! starting January 4, 2021 to February 26, 2021″ It’s a scavenger hunt with Amazing Race-like perks…and all for a noble cause. This gamified approach will rally together publicly accessible safety resources. Things like first aid boxes and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). Spot these safety resources in your community, snap a picture and share. All your efforts could save a life and earn you a cool prize if you’ve made the highest submissions! Looking to tap onto our collective effort and creativity to track down and organize safety resources so that in an emergency, we can avail these as needed on the Helpfie #smartfirstaid mobile app which equips bystanders with life saving skills.
By tapping onto the power of community members who will take on the primary role of finding and sharing safety resources, we seek to empower the community and make the registry available in those critical moments in a medical emergency when every second counts. The safety resources will be listed on the Helpfie #smartfirstaid app and bystanders can mobilize safety resources within close proximity to help in a medical emergency. The Helpfie #smartfirstaid app displays the nearest safety resource along with pictures of the safety resource and the adjacent context along with a brief description of the resource. That way, members of the public can easily mobilize life saving safety resources to help in an emergency.
